For a early December stay for business, the concierge managed to get me a seat for the ballet at the opera nearby! Excellent and friendly service. Luxury feeling.

The Vierjarheszeiten is the premier property in Munich, although it is going through at needed renovation. The setting is excellent on Maximillenstrasse's shopping avenue and it is close to all the attractions without being right in the midst of them. Most of what you came to see is within and easy walk and the Residenz is practically next door. The restaurant is excellent, particularly for breakfast. I particularly recommend the helpful concierge staff who helped me out with a trips to the castles and Salzburg.

Stayed @ the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski Munich to experience the Christmas markets, this past December. It was my 4th stay at this hotel. I will start with the pros: Service at the hotel is outstanding, the location cannot be beat, it is right in the heart of Munich, a short walk to Marienplatz, Hofbrauhaus & shopping. The lobby is beatiful & the breakfast is amazing, but crazy expensive if not included in the room rate. The concierge desk staff are excellent & have always taken care of my requests, large & small. The rooms are sound proof with very comfortable beds,pillows, linens & toiletries. The rooms are very functional. The only cons I have are related to the guest rooms, based on my own expeiences with European comprable 5 star hotels. The rooms are very small, sparsely decorated with old fashion box TV. The bathroom is a decent size but the bathing/shower is outdated with a very large tub that you must step up into in order to use it.

The verdict: I would stay there again because the positives outnumber the negatives significantly. I value location & service!

There really is no better place to stay in Munich. The staff is above everything and the care is outstanding! Top service, delicious food, comfort and more comfort!!!
