Great location for walking to Oktoberfest and a strip with a lot of shops nearby. The hotel staff were very accomodating and friendly. The rooms were very large and comfortable in size, located in the inside court are quiet. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the room was spacious.
Internet access was very poor in the rooms, and most of the time no signal so I didn't got access from our room

I booked a table at the Hotel Europa Munchen - Restaurant Clevinci on Saturday 30 July. It's a modern looking but spartan restaurant in a hotel located in what seems like a bit of a seedy red light district. The hotel reminded me of the Cavendish hotel in Eastbourne...full of retired coach trip visitors.

I had a prepaid Groupon voucher for dinner for 2 at the restaurant and I phoned to make a reservation with the reception staff three days before arriving. When I arrived at the restaurant with my wife the waitresses were rude and astonished that we could have made a reservation ("Wow, you actually want to eat here!" was the reaction). We were made to feel very uncomfortable and another waitress offered us a very limited menu which did not resemble the menu we had booked and paid for in advance and instead were offer and had a very poor choice of buffet dishes.

Service was extremely poor and my visit to this hotel was the only bad point in an otherwise fantastic weekend in Munich.

Hotel is a 10E taxi ride fom Hauptbanhoff. I did not try the tram system (have never done so in all the times I've been to Munich). I usually stay more centrally, but my new distributor's office is around the corner from the hotel

Room was clean, spacious. Bathroom was clean and modern with bath/shower combo.

Had a room streetside and windows efficiently blocked noise...would hate to have to sleep with windows open in the summer to assist what I am guessing is typical sub par (according to us Americans) AC. They did have some fans to loan in a closet behind reception.

No iron in room, can borrow one from reception. Bar was open late. did not eat dinner there, just breakfast which was fine, but nothing to write home about. Its about the cheapest hotel room I have ever had in Munich and it was fine. Only drawback to me would be the distance from the Hbanhoff and the S and U-bahn lines.

Have just spent 3 night's at this Hotel. Very friendly helpful staff throughout the Hotel from the Front Desk, Housekeeping and Bar staff ; Our room was to the front of the Hotel but was very quite, the bed was really comfortable ! Breakfast was really good, a good choice from either hot or cold food. Good bar, friendly staff. 20 min walk from city centre, much faster by tram, which is a few min's walk from the Hotel .
