“Closest I could find to airport that was reasonable price”

Good rail links to Munich airport make it easy to stay almost anywhere in Munich. We had a rental car to return to the airport & an early morning flight so wanted to be as close to the airport as possible. Still about 17 Km away here, but at least on the right side of town. 56 Euros for a double, 46 for a single. Highly automated efficient new hotel. I would skip the breakfast as there is a McDonalds in the same building. Free parking in underground garage. Fairly cheap gas station same building. Free WiFi requires an cell phone with ability to receive a text message password, but front desk also receives password as well and can give it to you if you go down & ask.

“Modern, simple and spotless”

We stayed here during our first 2 nights in Munich. Check-in was effortless and we were promptly given our key cards and door access codes.

The room was spacious, modern, simple and very quiet - perfect for a good nights sleep. Everything from the sheets to the carpeting including the bathroom was spotless. Clean towels were provided daily. Bath comes equipped with liquid soap dispenser and modern shower unit. Hair dryer unit also provided at vanity counter.

Rooms are equipped with free WIFI - just get the password from the front desk. Air conditioning unit also provided for warm summer days.

The breakfast-buffet is an additional 9 euros. Menu includes fresh hard-boiled eggs, omelette, a wide range of cold cuts, fresh breads and rolls, jams, 3 types of fresh juice, coffee, varies flavors of tea, a range of yogurt and cereal / crackers guarantees a hearty breakfast.

Lobby is also equipped with drinks and snacks vending machine. Should you feel a little peckish at anytime of the day, just head on over to the petrol station just beside the hotel.

“Glad it was only for one night!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 September 2010

We stayed at B&B Hotel Munich as part of a long road trip to Austria.

The hotel staff were friendly, however we arrived quite late and it would appear that our pre-booked room had been allocated to someone else.
Therefore the staff had to put us in a 'smoking' room... My friend and myself both being none smokers found this disgusting and the smell / smoking stains in the rooms was AWFUL!!

Not only that, unless you want McDonalds there is no where else to eat within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel has no catering services to offer during the evenings.

Despite the above, it was a cheap one night stop for us. I would stay here again, just hope for a better room next time and take my sandwiches with my ready..

Also, the free Wifi is a huge bonus!! :)

“Worst Experience ever!!!!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 April 2010

First, I got a smoking room instead of non-smoking and the smell was really bad even after hours of having the window open. Then, on my second day, the elevator broke down before 6:00AM and I was on the 5th floor. No big deal, except that on my return in the evening I had an injured foot and still no elevator. I explained that I could not walk and they did not care, I asked to be moved to a room in a lower floor due to my injury and they told me that they were full (even for a medical emergengy???). I asked to bring my things down from the room so that I could find another hotel and the cancellation of the rest of my stay and they refused to do either. They say that in their hotel they did not do room service of any kind (even for a medical emergengy???) and that it was too late to cancel my reservation that day.
So I had to hop on my injured foot up 5 floors, stay one more night in pain in a stinky room and leave in the morning. And I do not know if they will reinbourse me the two nights I am not going to sleep in that rathole.
Do not go there. Really. With such customer service, they do not deserve to have customers at all.

“Do not expect too much”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 October 2009

Stayed in this "hotel" during Oktoberfest, we understand the price will be higher than normal period. However charged with price more than double its normal rate, we do not see it worths what it charged.

The location is bad - we did not travel by car. We got off at the U bahn station, yes, the hotel is not very far away from the bahn station on the map. But imagine that you have to walk through a construction site (or a pedestrain path along the highway which take you longer time) with your luggage, it is not that easy to reach by walk as described.

The service is bad - we had few hours before our flight back to home, we asked for keeping the luggage in the hotel after the morning check out. The answer we got is: "sorry, we have no storage room in this hotel". It is definitely out of our expectation. We never heard from any other hotels with such answer like B&B Munchen.

It maybe your choice if you travel there by car. You can find gas station next to this hotel.
