“Dated Decor but Convenient Location”

This hotel is located across the street from the main railroad station in Ulm and off a major thoroughfare so there is train and traffic noise all day and night. The hotel has installed soundproof windows that are soundproof (and they do work) but...if you close all of the windows, you get no ventilation and fresh air because there is no a/c. Our bathroom seemed recently renovated with new toilet, pedestal basin and shower stall. Dated and soiled blue carpets in the rooms and public areas but better than adequate breakfast.. The hotel is a 5-minute walk to the Munster Cathedral (with world's tallest spires) and the charming fishing village with old houses and canals. Ulm has a lot of atmosphere and is off the tourist maps.
