Arrived around 8:00 PM with a car to Heidelberg, searching for a hotel, Marriott was our first choice. The only rooms they got where rooms with access to lounge, decided to go with that rate. The stuff at the reception, gave us a choice of having the breakfast next morning in the main restaurant, instead of the continental breakfast in the Lounge. This proposition was made to us, because we have missed the evening snacks in the Lounge that evening. Decided to go for that and we were not dissapointed with the selection of products to be found. The rooms are large, fairly modern, with box TV's, the bathrooms are also fresh. Everything in the hotel is of a German order, cleaned and on time. The rooms have a view on the Necker River, so did the Club Lounge located on the top floor with a large balcony you could sit on. We had chilled beer being served to us by a bery polite lady at the Loubge.Left this location in the morning with a prior quick check out.
