Great location easy walking distance to train or any tourist sites. Front desk was always helpful and friendly. The breakfast was nothing to write home about but was in line with what to expect from 3 star hotel. Rooms were clean and building was in a well maintained condition. Owner was very hands on. One morning I was late to breakfast just before 10, (breakfast is served from 7-10) they were out of the rolls that I liked and I asked if they had any in the kitchen. The owner came in the dining area stated that they did not but it would be no problem for him to go down the street to the local bakery to get whatever I would like. I didn't have him do that but that is the kind of service that I came to expect. Because we stayed there for one week he also took 10% of of our bill. If your looking for the Ritz this is probably not your place, but if you want some bang for your buck and be treated well in a clean and comfortable room this hotel is well worth your consideration.

Safe area tucked on a fairly quiet side street. Staff was efficient, polite and helpful. Would stay here again!

The hotel is nicely located close to the main city centre and the river. The rooms and bathroom are all excellent quality. The breakfast is excellent too. You can get internet in room by paying a small amount. It is one of the best and cheap hotels one can find in a city like heidelberg.

We stayed at this hotel to try out some traditional German hospitality. And it didn't disappoint. Slightly off the main strip yet within comfortable walking distance, this hotel is a gem for its art deco-ish European personality. Breakfast was sufficient but with a limited range. Service was friendly though it came with a certain German stiffness. The rooms were spacious with high ceilings but the TV was a size small for the room. Close to all conveniences and some nice restaurants and late night kebab shops this hotel offers great value. Its one of those places where you could just stay inside if its rainy outside.
