After two wet days in Cologne arriving in Baden Baden in the sunshine was a real treat. Had to take taxi from the train station but worth it. Hotel was charming. Friendly and helpful staff. There were church bells near by but my husband and I had become immune to bells after staying in Cologne! When we booked in we were told we could choose between three rooms so chose one on the second floor with air conditioning. Hotel seemed to be empty but found other guests at breakfast. Breakfast good, typical German buffet but delicious. Every table had a daily newsletter on it, ours was changed for an English version very promptly Local news and news from abroad plus weather report for Baden-Baden, very useful. Staff friendly and happy to chat if wanted. Rooms clean and comfortable, plenty of towels including one on floor beside the bed! Fresh fruit in the room. We went to the Roman Baths and enjoyed the experience once we got used to being naked. Some of the staff at the Baths were very unpleasant and rude but in two weeks in Germany they were the only unpleasant people we met. Thoroughly recommend a visit to Baden-Baden but a very expensive town.

I went with my mother and stay at this property for one night. The service was extremely kind and proactively helped us with everything we needed, and even more, without us even asking for it. For example, when we went to have dinner at the restaurant and the they heard us talking spanish, they called a spanish speaking colleague from their sister hotel, Belle Epoque, who came talk to us and made sure we were satisfied with the service and the hotel.
The restauurant is also a good place to dine! The menu has a good variatety of dishes and the portions have the perfect size. The breakfast buffet has a bit of everything and it is served in a small but very fine way.
The hotel all in all has a great atmosphere: Le Petit Prince illustrations of Saint-Exupéry hang on the walls, the decoration is very traditional with lots of details but in the right amount, and it has a beautiful terrace where you can have coffee and cake during the afternoons. It felt just like a fairy tale!

We picked up a car in Germany 5 years ago and also stayed here to celebrate. Once again, we picked up a car, and treated ourselves to Der Kleine Prinz! We stayed in the Turmchenzimmer 51. The fact that we had to walk the final flight made it more distinct..from this loft you can see about 5 different views of the surrounding homes in the hills as well as the Cathedral from the various windows (even from the bathroom!). We were able to park 1 block away in the parking lot of their sister hotel, The Belle Epoque (that expression now made famous by Maria Cotillard in recent Woody Allen film, Midnight In Paris). Der Kleine Prinz is about a 15 minute walk from Friedrichsbad thermal spa, AND, one of our favorite German restaurants, the Lowenbrau Baden-Baden......but you can make a case for just hanging out in your room, or the library or courtyard of this stunning hotel....

We have just returned from yet another wonderful stay at The Little Prince in Baden Baden. As always rooms were quaint but lovely, staff were attentive and very helpful and breakfast was fab. Fruit baskets in the room were a lovely touch after a hard days shopping! A really special place in a very lovely setting. Cannot wait to return. Would recommend Rizzi for dinner to visitors also- always have a great time here.
