Me and a friend stayed in this budget apartment building when on a week's skiing trip to Val d'Isere in early February 2006. We booked through firstresort and were happy with the deal (about £350 including flights and transfers from Manchester). They are basic apartments which are said to sleep 4 but if you were a party of 4 you'd definitely want 2 separate apts. 3 would be a squeeze but bearable for just the week.

On the plus side there was a decent sized bath with endless hot water. The kitchenette was fucntional but cramped, good enough to make pasta dishes and toast etc. There was the bonus of a dishwasher and we had towels and a 'cleaning pack' (which had dishwasher tablets, if only i'd opened it before buying some!) thrown in with no extra charge.

There's a pub and supermarket across the street and the excellent free bus service stops right outside. There really is no need to pay extra to stay in Val centre because the bus runs every 5 mins unitl 8pm and every 15 or so unitl 2am.

You are 5 mins walk from the lifts in the mornings and the first off the transfer bus when you arrive. It's spot on really!
