The position of this hotel cannot be beaten. Centre of town and virtually on the piste. It is a very nice hotel (although I do prefer the hotel Kandahar) but the decor is very modern which is not particularly atmospheric.this is my only complaint (which isn't really grounds to complain!). The staff were very good the breakfast was good the bar with a pianist was also good. The rooms were also good and extremely clean. The spa and steam room etc were great. There is a ski set ski hire shop in the basement which was super convenient but they don't have a great range of equipment and the staff were pretty abrupt and rude (this was in response to giving us othe peoples boots and skis on two occasions!). All in all this is a very good hotel and we had an excellent time.

we had a nice first ski season week end , hotel is very well located just close to the slopes and ski lift pass shop ,staff is pleasant , specially the ski room guys , the deco is new but already looks tired and you can notice a lot of marks on the walls , the hotel lobby looks cold and the deco is not really cosy .
room deco is ok , but you can feel it was done cheaply specialy the bathroom where the tiling was done with a "hammer " ,the bath was not changed and the joints sealant are grossely done .
the breakfast is ok but a shame they don't offer fresh fruit juice and the pancakes are served cold !
the spa is ok for sauna and steam room but the pool issmall , way too cold and gets noisy quickly specialy with children .
the room are not soundproof and that can change your stay from good to very bad , so be sure to get a quiet location for your room .
in brief think of this hotel as a 3 stars and you wont be desappointed

Location excellent. Rooms comfortable. Bar and live music cool. But the staff made it. Friendly but informal, and the guys in the ski shop almost went too far! Never had staff so keen to put your boots on. I have not done a review before, but this is my first time at this hotel after about 20 visits to Val and I will be back.
Wish they would change carpet in room corridors. Not nice.

We stayed here for 5 nights at the very beginning of the ski season and couldn't fault the sevice of the staff. All were very helpful and friendly.
The rooms are large (unusual for a french ski resort) and comfortable. We enjoyed using the spa facilities after skiing each day and used the cocktail bar because the atmosphere was so pleasant there. Didn't try the restaurants.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
