“Great value and location but make sure you get a valley view room.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 February 2012

Great hotel, with amazing location in the middle of 1650 village. 20m from escalator to ski gondola and ski school meeting point and in amongst all the shops/bars/restaurants.

Hotel is finished really nicely, rooms are great size with loads of storage and nice en suite.

Breakfast is nice, cereal, pastries, yoghurts, drinks, cheese all free. You pay extra for cooked breakfast and or porridge but reasonable.

Would recommend a valley view room as village view very noisy with people leaving bars and then traffic from early morning.

Nice restaurants in the village, would recommend Le Petit Savoyard for fondue and pizzas, and also L'Alambic.

Great skiing, 1650 less busy than 1850. Bel Air and Chenus restaurants more reasonable than others.

Overall great hotel and would recommend highly.

“Best hotel for the money in Courchevel 1650”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2012

The location of this hotel is fabulous. And the rooms are spacious, very quiet, and clean with incredibly comfortable beds, flat screen tvs, cables for internet, and a fantastic made to order breakfasts. Rooms have beautiful views of the mountains and come with a mini-fridge for your wine and cheese. It is right across the street from the gondola and the ski school and is walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The staff are charming and helpful. This should be a four-star hotel. Highly recommended and we will be back.

Room Tip: Ask for mountain views.

“Worth every pennt”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 January 2012

In an expensive part of France this was well worth the money. Accurately calls itself a B&B...doesn't do dinner (used to but stopped) so there's no bar or restaurant but there are plenty next door and along the street. It's directly opposite the main lift up the mountain so no need for buses. The rooms are great, but ask for one at the back of the hotel. We stayed in the front for the first night but party goers woke us up when the bars closed and then the snow ploughs woke us up in the morning! but moving to the back of the hotel we had a better view and sound sleep. The staff were excellent, extremely helpful and friendly. After some grumpy reviews of Australian hotels, had a refreshing stay. Highly recommend it.

Room Tip: As mentioned, request a 'valley view room'

“Expensive - but a good stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 March 2010

We stayed at Le Seizena for 3 nights in March. Our stay there didnt get off to a start, we checked in at 10.30pm. Nipped out for a quick bite to eat - on our return the keys wouldnt work thus us not been avaible to access our room. After 30 min wait (tired from travelling all day) we were told the Manager was 20 minutes away and he would sort the problem. After another 30 mins - we were given the master "key fob" and we were allowed into our rooms - but werent allowed to keep the key! After this minor hic-cup - the rest of our stay was enjoyable! Breakfast excellent - fresh fruit/cerals/chees & hams. Also freshly cooked eggs (omlettes/poached etc) All in all a good stay - but we didnt need the stress of the exprience of the 1st night...

“wonderful b+b,lovely staff,great location.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 March 2010

Having used Trip Advisor for research we were quite happy with our choice. We picked the b+b first then went with Neilsons for the package to ensure transfere etc. The first impression was wonderful and it stayed the same for the duration of the holiday. The room was clean, modern with a fab view of the mountains. The bed was very comfy and the only complaint as such would be that there was no bath and the shower was very small, too small to really shower in. Other than that we were really pleased with the service we had. Buffett breakfast was the usual pastries, bread, cereal and choice of eggs. The resort of 1650 has plenty of great place to eat so we didn't eat at the hotel in the evenings although the menu looked great. For skiing, the location is great, just cross the road for the gondola(bubble) to take you to the slopes. If you have never tried Corcheval for skiing we would recommend it for all levels. Beware though,it's an expensive resort!!!
