We have just returned from a week at the Residence Le Christiana at La Tania, Courchevel, French Alps where we rented an apartment for 6/7 people. The residence is horrible and we have never experienced such bad infrastructure and low service before.
Cleanliness: average, although the carpet is old and there are plenty of dirty spots. The balcony was dirty, as were the windows.
The apartment was supposed to be perfectly fitted. This was in fact terribly wrong. A few examples: only 5 glasses instead of 18, 7 knives instead of 18, no cissors, no corkscrew, 6 chairs and a table which could accommodate at best 6 people (what for the 7th?), no vacuum cleaner (remember: floor carpet), only one medium size casserole, no sun lounger despite it being mentioned. The window curtains were half hanging. The beds were in fact mere wood board and not springer, so lots of back pain. One child bedroom was really tiny with hardly a space between the wall and the bunk bed. The ski box was not able to host 7 pairs of skis (5 at best). The location of the master bedroom was noisy, in front of a dancing, near a glass container, and facing the place where buses collect people (the departure day we were woken up at 5:00 am due to the engines of buses). One toilet flush was not working, the kitchen faucet was loose and not functional. Despite complaining on our arrival day about al these problems we only managed to receive one corkscrew, 6 glasses and a vacuum cleaner hardly working. The rest was ignored and not fixed.
Other services: the pool was tiny, shared between the residence (over 50 apartments) and the Hotel Montana! This is the worst apartment we stayed in. You can see that the outside is also not maintained, when comparing with other residences in the area.
