We were two couples visiting Provence for a couple of nights. We found this hotel online and it looked nice and was reasonably priced. We were not disappointed.
Our two rooms were on different floors. The first floor room had fully shuttered doors onto the patio. My room was upstairs. It appeared to have been more recently renovated and was air conditioned while the downstairs room was not. Since I prefer a cool room, I was happy to be in the ac but the other couple was equally content with the downstairs room. However, should you want to open your shutters, be aware that the downstairs rooms face tables on the patio so you may not have the same privacy that the upstairs rooms afford.
Rooms are simply furnished and clean. The bathroom was sparkling clean.
There is a very inviting pool. Breakfast cost 8 euros and was good. The hotel is a short walk from the center of St. Remy so the location is great. It is in its own walled-in compound.
We found the staff to be very pleasant. Our only complaints would be that the towels were a bit worn and thin and that the hot water wasn't always immediately available.
But, for the price and convenience, this is a fine place to stay.
