Very sorry to say that I cannot think of anything good to say about this hotel or its staf. If you are driving to St Raphael do NOT stay here. The road outside is very busy and you simply cannot pull up and drop your luggage off. The pay and diplay parking is very busy and peak season you can wait an age for a free space, which also now costs Euro9.10 per day. Dragging cases half a mile with a 4 year old in tow is no fun at all. The hotel is dreary, smells mustly, outdated and quite franky why would you pay a £100 odd to stay in a place that is so inferior to your own home, holidays are for spoiling yourself, no? Worst of all our key was broken and missing the security code which allows you back in to the hotel after hours (there is no one on site after midnight). We ended up calling friends in Bagnoles and sleeping on their floor. We did not receive an apology and we decided to check out the next day despite still having a reservation for a further 2 nights. They did however not charge us for these remaining two nights. The WiFi doesn't work and I never found the sauna. Sorry to be so negative, but please take my advice and dont do it to yourself! P.S. If you want to go to a place that resembles Blackpool, go to Blackpool it's great fun and cheaper!!
