I happened to book two rooms in this hotel almost by chance: i needed to be in Nice to catch an early flight the next morning, but i wasn't aware of the Monaco Grand Prix and i had to face a "fully booked" situation in the whole city. I found the hotel's name on the Lonely Planet and decided to give it a try: i was able to book their last two rooms: a small double with bathroom for my parents and single without bathroom for me.
Once we got there i was actually pleasantly surprised: the hotel is located right in front on the Notre Dame church, very close to train station and at a 15 minutes walk to the beach. It's also close to shops and restaurants.
My parent's room was small, but new and very clean. It had a tv too. The bathroom was also new and spotless clean. The only weird thing is that there was no door or curtain in between room and bathroom.
My room was nice, with a great view of the church from the small balcony. Besides the bed, there were a wardrobe, a small table and a sink. Everything was clean and towels were also provided.
Honestly it was one of the best single room i've been in (i usually do backpacking traveling)
Bathrooms were located both on the second and third floor (both floors had toilet and shower).
Kevin, the owner, was kind and friendly, providing me with all the info i needed. He even checked the bus timetable for me to make sure we could get on the bus to Eze on time.
Overall a good experience and i'd stay there again.
