The rooms are well equipped with everything you need. Location is a bit on the outskirts of Nice - but we enjoyed the long strolls along the French Riviera and the train station is not too far away. The hosts were wonderful and provided us with information around the area including Monaco. The homemade bread, jams and yoghurts served at breakfast were a definite plus! Would stay here again...

We have just returned from staying at La Pastorelle, our room was lovely with views of the sea. Breakfast was delightful with homemade yoghurts/breads and cakes .It is about 5 minutes walk downhill to the beach but a little way from the centre of town ( about 45 minutes walk) for 1 euro you can take the bus into the centre or to the railway station.Thierry & Erick work very hard to make La Pastorelle special, so if you are visiting Nice do consider staying here

We just finished a one night stay in La Pastorelle. To say the least, we were unimpressed. The rate is decent for Nice and the grounds were pretty, but the hosts were a little less than friendly and the room wasn't very comfortable or convenient. Very small rooms, about 4K outside of town. Taxis are expensive and cost about 25 euro each way, so make sure to factor the cost in. The rooms were small and noisy and although they had pretty much all the things you need, they just weren't very comfortable. The pool was nice and my favorite part. The only pleasant surprise was the decked out entertainment system, but to us, that is useless while in south of france. The hosts seemed like they did not enjoy their job...very late check in with no flexibility, irritated when we showed up 20 mins before 5:00 and put off by simple requests like the number for a taxi or a towel for the pool. We didn't stay for breakfast, so I cannot comment on that. I wouldn't stay here again...

We had the Chocolate room for three throughly enjoyable nights. The Choclate room was loverly and there is a loverly home cooked breakfast every morning on the terrace consisting of home cooked breads, jams, yougurts juice and coffee/tea.

You have access to the house gardem and pool which is a welcome relief at the end of a busy day. It's titled a hotel but really its an upmarket bed and breakfast so evening meals mean walking anywhere between 5 and 20 minutes for a variety of options. Sea is about 5 mins walk away, Nice itself, whilst a simple €1 bus ride away is only a 40 minuite walk. Parking of a car was possible on the quite private road which was one of the reasons we booked in.

Thoroughly enjoyable, would recomend to any singles or couples
