We stayed at the Hotel Connexion last May. Let me first say that our host was incredibly nice and very accomodating. And, its in a good location. However, it wasn't a good stay for us. The room was large and well appointed (big bed, window, nice tv)- but it wasn't clean as there was a lot of hair on the floor from the previous occupant. The bathroom- which itself wasn't all that clean that day- also has no door (which some people may like, but I personally do not). Overall I'd say that the Hotel Connexion seems less focused on being a hotel and more on being a meeting spot for gay travelers. I think it may be a better spot for a single gay man, maybe rather than for a couple? It was kind of like a slightly upscale gay themed hostel. Anyway, I really wanted to like it, but sadly it it just didn't work for us at all.

If you are looking for a gay hotel which is reasonably priced and well located in Nice, then I can recommend this hotel. The hotel is situated a short 10-15 min walk from the centre of town, only a block from the beach and close to a supermarket. The play themed rooms are more basic and appeared to be a bit smaller, but are good if that is the type of space you are looking for. The "regular" rooms are better appointed and more spacious if you don’t require the play theme.
The guys put on a nice breakfast (included in the price) which was a selection of breads, croissants, cold meats and cheeses, good coffee and tea, orange juice, jams, yogurt etc. They also occasionally hold social drinks for hotel guests and offer to shuttle you to and from the airport when they can.
Free WiFi internet is also offered to guests, however I found that on both of my stays the connection was either slow, intermittent or non-existent for long periods of time, despite acceptable signal strength. A computer on the top floor is also offered for guest use but this had the same internet connection problems.
Overall a nice hotel if you are looking for some gay hospitality.

Spent four nights at the Conexion hotel in the great French Riveria city of Nice. The hotel is well located within walking distance of the train station with bags and only blocks from the world famous beach. The hosts were friendly and gave advice on the area and some dining out options. The room was small but adequate for our needs, never did meet any onther guests during our stay here. But this is a men only hotel and you should be aware of that if booking here.

I' ve been there already several times and love it every time when I'm there.
Last weekend I 've been there with 10 other friends to celebrate my Birthday and it was a great weekend.

Love the service, the atmosphere, the famous aperitive " glou-glou".
