The hotel is in a good locatopn - close enough to walk into the old town for restaurants and well placed for exploring the area. We spent twelve nights in two interconnecting rooms with balconies over looking the garden. The rooms were a good size, reasonably clean on arrival, although the carpets were stained in places. The rooms were fairly basic with no proper wardrobe and no drawers although there was plenty of hanging space and some shelves. The roomsl generally was very quiet but never did get the hang of the air conditioning and would have preferred to have beenable to turn it off at night as it was quite draughty. The front desk staff were generally friendly and tried to help despite our limited French. The chambermaids however failed to clean the bathroom properly some days, didn't restock the toiletries or tea/coffee every day (meaning we had to request more at reception ourselve) and seemed to think making a bed meant just pulling up the duvet over the creased up sheets.
Breakfast in the restaurant was a plentiful buffet, with a good choice although expensive. We had one evening meal but were not particularly impressed and generallly the restaurant didn't seem well used, there were better places to eat in town and around the port.
Overall we enjoyed our stay, loved the area but with a little effort the hotel could be so much better.
