Apart from price and looking quaint from the lobby and hotel website, this hotel is conveniently located to accessing the old town/Marche Forville. However, that's were the positive comments end.

Our room was terribly small - even by French standards - and the carpet was dirty. The toilet seat was broken and the plunger in the sink didn't work either. The mattress had one of those awful plastic covers (I don't know if that says more about the hotel's expectations of their guests, or the guests themselves) and the bed was small, even though it was a double.

We only stayed for two nights, and paid for it in advance; a lesson learnt not to do such a thing. I would have moved on if our stay was longer.

I wouldn't stay in this hotel ever again nor would I recommend it to anyone.

Whatever you do JUST AVOID THE BELLEVUE AT ALL COSTS. It is an extremely badly run "hotel" with awful, cramped, damp and dirty rooms. We had a blood stain on the bed cover and pubic hair in the bed. The hotel manager is a thretening presence and demands money from you even when you have paid. It is the worst place I have ever encountered and you are made to feel very uncomfortable due to the "massage" offered. This place needs to be closed down immediately. The manager will almost certainly argue with any attempt to complain.

Do not stay there, avoid at all costs!
I found the Bellevue hotel to be less than basic, unsafe, extremely dirty and even found blood stains on the bed cover!!
The worst part of this hotel is probably the manager who is very unpleasant and threatening. Nightmare hotel!

No one was at the hotel when we arrived well after the check-in time (we got there at 1800hrs, check-in was 1500hrs).

We called the phone numbers given, only to be diverted to a hastily made voice message - with a lot of background noise & which we couldn't understand at all.

We got eaten alive by the mosquitoes while waiting out the front until another couple arrived & let us into the front reception area, which was totally empty. We checked the building & there was no one else there but a couple of guests.

After 60 mins & a LOT of phone calls we gave up on this hotel - they never even bothered to get back to us after we left the voice messages.

Go else where, there are plenty of other hotels in the area that ARE at the service desk & that are not much more expensive.
