I recently travelled throughout Italy and France with a friend for 6 weeks. It was always with some trepidation that we arrived at our next accommodation destination - and we had a few surprises! Le Limas was certainly one of them - but this time we were absolutely thrilled. We were greeted by the delightful Marion and shown to our stunning 2 bedroom suite with shared bathroom. Everything was so fresh and clean - Marion takes such pride in presentation! Breakfast was a wonderful experience to start each day and Marion's helpfulness was unlimited. We could have stayed forever!

My wife and I stayed here for two nights in late October. We arrived a little earlier than we had originally told Marion but she was ready for us when we got there and took us to our room which was quite nice. It overlooked Rue Limas and you could see the Palace of the Popes from the window.

The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The building itself was quite nice including access to a terrace on the top floor that gives you an even better view of the city than we had from our room. The terrace was a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee after a day of seeing Avignon.

My wife and I very much enjoyed Avignon and would certainly stay here again the next time we are in Avignon.

LeLimas was recommended in Lonely Planet and had really good reviews on Trip Adviser. It was stylish and better than we had imagined. Our room was adjacent to the Terrace which da great view of the Palace. Marion was a marvellous host. Breakfast was fresh fruit, bread that was still hot from the baker, yogurt and cheese and jams. Le limas is very Australian friendly.
We would not hesitate to recommend it.

Even with Trip Advisor, its hard to be sure of the accommodations until you get there. The Bed and Breakfast at Le Limas was all that I noted in the title. This is a very spacious bed and breakfast. The breakfast was all fresh... breads, fruits, juices, jams, cheeses. And more than you can eat. Marion was an exceptional host. She even made the call for me when I left a credit card in Arles to attempt to get it back. This B & B is located on the north end of town, just inside the city walls. It faces a quiet, small park with a small cafe serving on it. Lots of shade, cobbled streets, views of the papal palace, contemporary furnishings that were actually very comfortable. I thought this was reasonably priced.
