We stayed for 4 nights in a tent mid Oct 2008. The choice was forced because no other camping grounds in the area appear to be open that time of the year.
The staff were pleasant and helpful; English was no problem. The sanitation facilities were clean (although I was surprised to see a camper leave the showers with her wet dog). They were cleaned each morning. The shower heads were not perfect, but adequate.
The is a separate dish washing and laundry room in each sanitation block. As we left we saw a sign to a laundry (laverie) which probably had washing machines.
The camp was perhaps 20% occupied. There appeared to be a few 'permanents' which can (and did present some problems). Most of the campers near us stayed for a few days with their camper/RV van. It seemed it was a tight squeeze through the lanes for a few of them.
Each site is screened somewhat (some better than others). Not much grass on the ground. There is lots of shade from the trees, and we saw plenty of birds and a few squirrels.
The site is high on a hill above Aix and the background sound of the freeway/motorway is constantly present. Perhaps the sites nearer to the pool are quieter; we were on pitch 148.
The pool and restaurant were closed. The daily temperature whilst we were there was above 20, but it got quite cool in the night.
Summary: would not be my first choice in future. But if you want to be near the city it would be good.
