A very traditional old style French hotel. We found the service 1st class and nothing was too much trouble. The moved us to room on the 1st floor when they realised that my wife struggled with the stairs. The room was "quaint" but comfortable. The whole place has been described as "tired" and it is but this adds to its charm in many ways.
The breakfast was a little basic but sufficient.
One of the reasons we booked was because it advertised as having parking. We got there at 17.00 having driven from the tunnel to find that what parking there is ( only 3 spaces) had all gone. We were able to unload outside but then I had to go and find a parking space. This wasn't difficult but was not what I expected.
Overall the quality and warmth of the welcome made up for any shortcomings.
