The hotel is located in a quite area of the city center, within walking distance of the shopping district and other points of interest.
The tram stoppes just in from of the hotel.

Our room was very large, with a pleaseant view on the street (but I could notice on the floor map that most of the other rooms are much smaller that the one I got).
The furniture was rather modern, but as the other hotels of the Ibis chain, they provide all the basics (but just the basics...).
The walk-in shower was very good, and the bed was comfortable (though the mattress was a bit too firm for me).

Finally, a good budget option, with no surprise (either good or bad).

We used Nantes as a stop for a long drive up from Rocamadour to St Malo - The staff were very helpful and the car park was a video monitored one.
Room extremely clean but a bit small. Clean bedding also. Bar OK but no ambience. Would use as a stop off only - was very difficult to find in all the traffic as there was a fair on and hence a detour. Not too fsr to walk into the main town and trams run frequently.

We booked the hotel online at a great summer rate.
As usual with Ibis, you get a clean simple room, not too big, but perfect for a weekend when you know you won't spent too much time in the bedroom
Only problem was that we arrived late, they only had double room smoker, so we got a twin room non smoker the first night, but moved to non smoker double after.

Definitely great location, in the center of Nantes, 5 minutes from the Marche de Talensac, one of the best market in France, and 5 minutes walking from loads of restaurants near place Graslin.
