“Great location.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 October 2011

Stayed one night after checking a few other hotels. This one had best price for location. Rooms tiny - bathrooms like on board a ship but comfortable. Elevator was a plus. Parking very tricky due to the next day being market day but it worked out. Breakfast was lovely and coffee in the bar was pleasant. Had dinner down on the quai - lots of restaurants and shops. Pleasant town and pleasant stay.

“Good location but tricky for older or clumsy”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 October 2011

It is in a great location as suggested and there is a decent car park about 50 yards away down a passageway opposite - using the payment machine may require a degree in French parking machines. The rooms are seriously small but it is a very old building and all up and down - very difficult for me with a minor disability. I survived ok and the room was not the problem - it was getting to it.
The other problem was we were told their restaurant opposite was gastronomic one and we intended to eat there. BUT the waiter who greeted us seemed not to care one jot if we ate or not - by his attitude he preferred it when we went else where. But the waitress had on so much perfume that anything gastro - eaten or drunk - would be ruined as soon as she got within 10 yards.

“Location, location, location...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 September 2011

Yes the rooms are small however the location is excellent, good for a few nights with easy access to the main harbour area and eating locations. Rooms clean and tidy, we stayed in the junior suite which meant we had a bit more space for luggage. Staff very friendly and we enjoyed sitting out in the evening watching the world go by.

Room Tip: I would chose the junior suite, you have good views on to the street and a view of the outside harbo...

“Excellent Location with lift.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 September 2011

A lovely old building with restaurant/bar below, and rooms above, accessed by a lift which opened onto a tiny landing. Room was small, looking down onto the street, but it was very quiet, clean, and good bathroom. At 97 Euros, it was excellent value for the location just a few metres from the postcard-picture-perfect old port area and Quai Catherine. Bar staff did the reception work, and they spoke reasonable English. Free car parking is a flat walk of about 800 metres away. On arrival in Honfleur, it is best to find a pay park as close as possible, then check in to the hotel, then return for the car to pull up outside the hotel to very quickly unload bags with one person while the other drives on to the car-park.

“nice typical small france hotel, central situated”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 September 2011

small hotel, seems to be renovated a few years ago.
room was very clean, and the bathroom was excellent !!
situation is perfect, only a few steps from the port and the center.
hotel management is very friendly and helpfull.
breakfeast was correct.
minus point : the hotel has no private parking, even difficult to stop and discharge luggage.
but there is an open big parking at +/- 100 m where we always found a place.
finally, this was not a problem. also streetnoice early in the morning.
in total we enyoded the hotel and the services, and next time we should go again

Room Tip: junior suite is super !!
