Stayed here Oct 2011 as family of 5. This is a good, basic hotel for a city centre stay for a few nights. Breakfast buffet was good. Plenty of extremely good restaurants not far away. Parking is a bit tricky - street parking on a meter, and you may need to drive around for a bit to find a space. However, you can park outside the hotel to load/unload.

I stayed there fore some days in October 2011. The hotel is situated in the center of the town, a couple of minutes away from the Sunday market an every other attraction in Caen. The rooms are spotless (I stayed at the 4th floor, with a balcony), the service is very good and so is breakfast (cheese, ham, fresh fruit, yoghurt and 100 % juice in addition to the normal French jam and honey). I would recommend this hotel to everybody planning a stay in Caen!

I will preface to say that I stayed here with our school group of 24 people. We were the only ones in the hotel, and we were not a loud group ... BUT you may want to confirm that there are no groups if you are concerned.
There are approx. 45 rooms,most of which have been renovated. We stayed on the first floor in room that has not been redone, and it was lovely. BUT my students stayed on the 3rd and 4th floor in renovated rooms ... WOW! Clean, new bathrooms etc. They were on cloud nine and I was jealous!

Breakfast was scrumptious, and staff was lovely. I would stay there again in a flash, with or without my students!

The hotel is situated in the heart of Cean close to the castle and to St. Peter's and only a few minutes by walk from the Abbey-aux-hommes. The service is really good (clients get free internet access), the rooms are very clean and have been renovated some weeks ago. Though rather small the rooms are comfortable and you can easily stay one or two days there.
If you stay in Caen for a short visit I would definitely recommend this hotel.
