I spend in Lille 5 weeks per year and I've always liked to eat at Akira. 5 years ago I consedred it the best sushi place in Lille and I really liked it a lot. Sometime I went there twice per week, always enjoing my experience.
Unfortunately I've to admit (even if I have difficulties in doing it!!) that lately the quality of the food and of the service is decreasing. I always take the MAI menu, that is a mix of sushi, sashimi and a miso soup. The quality of the food is decreasing, the number of pices of the best kinds of fish are decreasing and the taste of them is getting less tasty. Of course the price is not decreasing.
I still think that Akira could be a good-average restaurant where to eat sushi. I'm just afraid that if they decrease the quality again and again... I've soon to find another sushi place in Lille!
