This hotel and restaurant are exactly what you would expect from a relais&chateau. Beautiful setting, great food and service and correct price. The gardens, the decoration, the friendly staff, the room, the menu degustation, is really worth the detour to la Lorraine. Much better one star michelin than, for example, the two star in Brussels "comme chez soi" (they don't deserve any at all). We spent only one night and we don't have a real "but". Only maybe, the train passing very close to the castle. But it does not really bother you. I would absolutely recommend staying in the chateau and having the menu degustation for dinner.

On our second stay this year, we marveled again about the fantastic food. No just "another good restaurant", but a place where we discovered again new taste, new texture and enjoyed the clear vision on "taste" by the chef. Michelin honors this with one star which is, and we can compare to 1-2-3- stars, a serious under-estimation.

The rooms are possibly not to everybody's taste, but are very comfortable and do justice to Relaix et Chateaux.

This hotel has something of old time Relais et Chateaux... not over luxurious, just a nice place lost in the countryside. The castle is charming, the rooms confortable, the restaurant should shortly get a second Michelin star and the owners and staff are the friendliest people you can find. Does not this sound like heaven on earth ? I'll keep on coming back and again...

We loved our stay at Chateau d'Adomenil, the food is outstanding, a real experience, and the staff really looked after us. The restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere and the food is amongst the best we've ever experienced. We loved the breakfast as well! Luneville is not the prettiest of towns, but the hotel is outside, and this is a good location for exploring Nancy and other places of interest in Lorraine.
