We stayed here for three nights from 26 to 29 May 2006 and found it delightful. It is located an easy, five minute walk into town and about a fifteen minute walk from the train station. From the outside it does not prepare one of the treat waiting inside. The home has lovingly been restored and the tasteful, comptempory decor blends in well with the historic features. We arrived straight from the airport before 11am and received a warm welcome from Ruby and Amelie who were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was already waiting for us. I think they have four bedrooms in total and we were lucky enough to stay in the spacious room at the top of the house. which was just fantastic. We had a lovely bedroom with a gorgous beamed sitting room area, beautiful en suite bathroom and a wonderful, large, peaceful, secluded, private terrace with a comfortable rattan sofa and a selection of plants. The room was very clean, comfortable and inviting. Breakfast is included in the cost of the room and was served in the delightful garden during our stay. It was a continential breakfast with a wonderful selection of homemade jams and marmalades and eggs cooked to order. We were in Perpignan to watch a rugby match and were looking for something a little bit extra special to stay to make a long weekend of it. We were impressed with the history and the range of facilities of the town itself and found nearby Collioure easy to get to and its harbour very pretty. We certainly would be very happy to stay here again and to recommend it to others.
