L'Orangerie is well located, near the Palace of Versailles, and we have enjoyed a warm welcome there on more than one occasion. Highly recommended. The decor is lovely, there is a garden, and the amenities are very comfortable, including a kitchen area.

A home from home - lovely quiet setting, Patricia the owner was so helpful and welcoming. Beautifully decorated. Very comfortable bed. Within walking distance of the Chateau. Well worth recommending

I first touched down at L'Orangerie on Bastile Day in 2008 and returned again in July of 2009. Sorry to have missed 2010 but, I am still in touch with Patricia and family in heart, spirit and plants. This is a lovely place to stay whether visiting Versailles or Paris or other surrounding areas. If one desires to bridge the gap between 18th century Versailles and current time, this is a perfect blend of romanticism and chicness. It is located close enough to walk to the palace and other city sights but, is in a traditional neighborhood where the cafe owner remembers you after a year! I will return to my second home next chance I get. As the pictures show- all those plants went into the garden- that was my rental car...Patricia allowed me to add to the garden and has kept good care of all. It was a privledge and an adventure. Not everyone will want this level of involvement but, know that great hearts live in this place.

L'Orangerie in Versailles was truly a find. Hidden off Avenue de Paris, a few blocks from the Palace and close to everything else, The L'Orangerie is a quaint little two unit inn. It is engulfed in beautiful gardens of a various colorful and aromatic plants. The room we stayed in had a downstairs with a nice well appointed bathroom and living room and a kitchenette. Up a short set of stairs was a nice bedroom.
The best part of the stay there was the outstanding treatment by the owner, Patricia White. She was extremely gracious with a bubbling personality and a great sense of humor and provided us with excellent choices for dinning and things to do in Versailles.
I highly recommend the inn to friends who are apt to travel to France.
