Beautiful Patricia was an amazing hostess! The studio is charming! It is right off of a main street in Versailles, and you can walk to the Chateau and RER in about 20 minutes (20 more mins by train into Paris), but because it is in the garden and built into a hillside, you cannot hear any cars - just the birds in the morning! Great night sleep - very comfortable bed. Patricia went way above her duty as hostess - she brought croissants and always wanted to make us feel looked-after. She even called for a doctor when I became ill and translated for us! If you are looking for a cozy, quiet place with a great hostess away from noise and traffic, but close to main attractions, go to L'Orangerie! Thank you for everything Patricia!

The L'Orangerie was a fantastic find for us! My husband and I spent four nights at Patricia White's lovely guest house and enjoyed it immensely. Patricia greeted us and took us on a quick tour of the property. We had our breakfast croissants delivered to us - wrapped up with a red ribbon - the night before, so we could have breakfast at our leisure . The next day we had a beautiful red rose and silver basket with our breakfast ready for us when we returned from our day. This was such a nice touch and we appreciated the thoughtfulness Patricia showed us throughout our stay. The Versailles RG train station and Versailles Chateau and gardens are just a few blocks away. The train ride to Paris is quick and relaxing. We would definitely choose to stay here again - it was so much better than the hotel we stayed in for two days in Paris!

We walked to the palace of Versailles from our free parking space at the bed and breakfast. A wonderful change from the tiny cramped hotels in Paris. We enjoyed wine and cheese, outside in our private yard outside of the white palace you see in the web picture. It is located behind the row of stately looking apartments along the Avenue de Paris, so it is not visible by the traffic.

Our visit was in fact mainly business being centred around the Paris Motor Show. L'Orangerie White-Palacio was quite a find thanks to TripAdvisor and was perfect for our needs. There was was plenty of space to work thanks to the mezzanine bedroom and, with breakfast arriving the night before, early starts were not a problem. It's quite a step from the centre of Versailles but Patricia is quick to offer restaurant selections.
It was also a pleasure to meet Patricia, her husband and daughters who made us feel very much at home as well as being excellent company.
We've promised ourselves a return visit with a greater bias towards pleasure next time!
