When you visit Paris one of the first questions people ask when you return home is: "How was the food?" If you ate at La Bonne Franquette you won't be able to say much! The restaurant has a fun, party atmosphere with lots of music, singing and laughter. (It seems to attract a lot of regulars, along with the tourist crowd.) And yes, the wine, bread and wine were excellent. But as for the main beef course and dessert I ordered.....not so much. At the end of the day I'll always have fond memories of La Bonne Franquette. But that's because of the two cute Parisian guys who flirted with me at one of the gift shoppes next door to it.
But that's another story!
