We stayed there on August 2010 for 6 nights and had standard double room on 4th or 5th floor facing street. There was a French balcony and from window you could see a little bit of Eiffel Towers top. Nearest metro station (Nation) was very close (200 meter) and the most important metro trains for a tourist stopped there.
Room was small but very clean and windows kept noise out of the room. Even on the market day. Bathroom was also small and clean but enough for showering and so on. Bed was quite hard and it took some nights to get used to it.
We ate breakfast on last morning and it was very good. There was tea and French coffee with fresh baguette and croissants and good toppings. Other mornings we tried little brasseries close to hotel and those were also fine and much cheaper than in city centre.
Service was good and polite and they spoke quite good english.
