“Wonderful B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 February 2012

We stayed 5 nights in this fantastic B&B. It is located in the southern inner city. 5-10 min walk from Place d'Italie and Cite Universitaire Metro stops. From each one of these it is a 10-15 min ride to the main attractions in Paris. There is also a bus stop located 20-30 metres from the front door. Our room had a private toilet and was spacious and clean. The property in general is in perfect condition. There is a nice terrace but we were there in Winter, so we did not use it. What makes this B&B so special is the personalised attention that you get from Marie and Alexi. Delicious and plentiful breakfasts and a delightful morning chat that helps you organise your intinerary for the day. For instance, once we went to Versailles for the day and when we came back at night we found a bottle of wine and glasses in our room, which we enjoyed. Next day, Marie said that she thought we would like some wine after a long day of sightseeing!! Also, Marie recommended restaurants and brasseries in the area. In summary, a superb stay in a quiet neighbourhood, not too far from the action. Entirely recommended!.

“Superb in every respect”

We stayed in the Champs Elysees room - and felt cossetted from the moment we arrived. In that spacious room we kept having to remind ourselves we were in Paris, where space is at such at premium. The bathroom was magnificent (and also very spacious), and the towels soft, big and fluffy. Breakfasts were a delight, and we found ourselves sitting for ages enjoying the delicious food and chatting to Marie, our host. Marie is the crowning glory of a wonderful establishment - giving out help and guidance for visitors, explaining incomprehensible socio-political issues, and recommending restaurants that were fantastic. Unreservedly recommended.

“Fantastic Paris B&B”

My husband and I feel so lucky to have "discovered" this B&B for our recent trip to Paris. Stayed 4 nights in the Champs Elysees room- very clean, spacious and tastefully decorated. The real highlight of staying here is the owner, Marie. She is wonderful. It was like having our own personal Parisian guide. She offered excellent suggestions for restaurants, planning our days, and getting around. The location is not in the heart of all the tourist destinations, but that's why you're staying at a calming, personal B&B instead of a big hotel. It's actually very accessible-- only about a 5-10 minute walk from the Cite Universitaire metro stop. We will definitely stay here again for our next visit.

What a superb stay at La Villa Paris, everything was perfect, the room was nice and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was fantastic but most of all we loved the personal, friendly and helpful service of Marie, she was full of advice and tips of how to make best use of our time in Paris, she couldn't do enough for us! We had such a nice trip and totally recommend La Villa Paris.

“Delightful Digs!”

My husband and I stayed 6 nights at La Villa Paris in September 2011. It was absolutely delightful. We chose this B & B as we wanted more intimate lodging and the neighborhood experience. We were not disappointed. The rooms were beautifully decorated, appointed, clean, bright, comfortable, and surprisingly large for Paris. We arrived in the early am after traveling all night. Marie, the owner, had graciously agreed to have our room ready early for us. We were greeted very warmly and presented with hot tea and biscuits. We felt most welcome.

A delicious breakfast of pastries, fresh fruit, cheeses, ham, and coffee or tea was served every morning at the time we requested. Either Marie or her assistant, Alex, were available to meet one's every need. Marie was most helpful with directions and suggestions. The bus line is right across the street. We had our own car, and never had trouble finding a parking space. We traveled out of the city several days and there was easy access to the highway. After very long days of sightseeing we would return to La Villa Paris for tea and a short rest. We had dinner a couple of nights at a local restaurant within walking distance. The other nights we walked to local groceries, cheese and pastry shops and brought our dinner back to the B & B. There is a small enclosed private terrace with tables where one can sit and enjoy a leisurely meal. Marie often took time to sit and chat with us. She is charming.

All in all staying at La Villa Paris was a wonderful experience. After 6 nights we really got in to a wonderful routine. We were truly sorry when it was time to leave. Without reservation we highly recommend this B & B, and hope we will have the opportunity to return one day!!!

Room Tip: We stayed in the "Champs Elysées" which is the largest room. The bathroom was huge with d...
