we booked this trip through last minute, and they didnt tell us that the hotel was under renovations while we were there! But the real fun began at 7am (not great, after a night out in Paris) when they started drilling!! The complaint was then ignored by both the hotel and lastminute. The hotel said they could change rooms for us but that doesnt make a difference if they're drilling!! the drilling and hammering continued till 10am. The hotel said they didnt have to tell us about it as it was renovations and not works and refused to give us a refund-so we could leave the hotel. Not only that we had to ask for towels and the rooms were tiny!- DONT GO THERE!!!

Booked the triple family room. more space than usual for Paris, a proper triple, not just a double with a camp bed added. Location could not have been better, 100 metres from Republic, just off Temple. looked like newish double glazing so should be warm in winter. Water v hot and shower strong. Recomend to anyone just looking for someplace to sleep in the city centre.

We stayed for 2 nights in a quad room - it was a cheap stopover when we were stranded by the Icelandic volcanic ash. We paid £110 for an ensuite quad room. The shower was powerful and hot, but leaked a lot and we had to paddle out of the bathroom. The decor was peeling and very tatty. The bedding smelled strongly of smoke. The door locked but was loose in the frame, so every time somebody walked down our corridor, the door rattled loudly several times, and as there was lots of comings and goings all night we did not sleep. Breakfast in the dingy dining room cost 6 Euros so we ate in the nearby bar for 7Euros.
Overall - this is an OK budget hotel in a really central location, but I don't think it was worth 110 Euros a night.

I stayed at this hotel with three friends on a whimsical trip to Paris. We only stayed one night and we only paid €92 for the four of us.

The hotel was easy to find and extremely well sittuated, the room was spacious and clean and we slept well, which is all we wanted.

I read many of the negative reviews, but the hotel was more than adequate and contributed towards an excellent trip to Paris.
