The hotel was very good except the owner seemed reluctant to allocate me a double bed, despite having checked with me in French, that this is what I was asking for. Not sure if this was homophobia in action as my partner and I ended up in two singles pushed together.

Everything else was fine though, lovely staff, nice rooms, I'd just have liked to be able to cuddle up in bed on my birthday!

Oh and the free wifi didn't work with my iPad or iPhone :(

Fantastic location with 4 metro stations walking distance to the hotel. The staff were beyond lovely and really wanted us to make the most of our short break. They helped us make restaurant reservations and directed us to the best streets to shop and have lunch. Breakfast was typically french with croissants and baguettes with assorted jams- and they do a delicious hot chocolate

Decor is dated and there aren't really any "mod cons" but they do offer free wi fi. We loved it's charm and would definitely stay there again.

I booked this hotel because it was basically one of the last available on the weekend I was in Paris, due to the Bank Holiday weekend. I am so glad I found this as it was Perfect, and I would recommend anyone to stay there, as I will be there again! The location is perfect, very close walking to Moulin Rouge, Sacre Cour, Pigalle station and beautiful cafes/restaurants.
When we arrived the lady on reception was lovely, and was expecting us, offered to show us where we are and any assistance we needed (such as room service, laundry, basically anything we wanted she could get us).
My partner and I had a room with a small kitchen, bathroom and dbl bedroom with a balcony overlooking the street which was very cute. The room was very clean, all that you could fault is that the carpet was old, but who cares?!
We paid 125 Euro per night including breakfast which consisted of a baguette, choc croissant, croissant, tea and juice. Very nice!!!!

We went to Paris for 3 nights and stayed at Alba Opera Hotel. We were surprised of the big rooms and the service offered. The hotel is easy to reach from the Pigale station. The staff is helpful and helped us with guidance how to get to certain parts of Paris.
