if you want a room with the Eiffel tower view right from your bed... it's a perfect place. Otherwise, cosy and clean rooms, simple breakfast, good metro connections. Helpful and kind staff, free internet and free wifi in the room.

When i want to book this hotel, i was torn apart between this and Campanile which is very nearby.There were 3 ladies and 1 guy. So, it's either to book triple room in this hotel and single room at Campanile or all of us stay at Campanile. I ended up booked triple room here and single room at Campanile for 2 nights through venere and booking.com respectively. After considering good review in TA and venere.

When we arrived, the lift was out of service that day. That's what they claimed. But, the lift still out of service the next day. So, the receptionist had to carry our luggage, 3 heavy 26in luggage all the way to 3rd flr. Ive been to Paris before, already expected the room to be small.

There were a double bed and a single bed. Thank god there were no bed bugs but both of them were creaking very badly. The room was stuffy and carpet were full of dust. The dust covered the sofa as well. Seems like no one had ever been cleaning the room for months. We have to open the window to let the fresh air in. The air condition was in poor condition. Luckily it was not that hot at night.

Regardless the poor condition, the location is good. Within walking distance to Bir Hakiem metro station. Restaurants and supermarket were nearby. You can even walk to Eiffel Tower. They have a common computer with Internet access at the lobby. The receptionist was friendly too and the only staff available.

Anyway, we check out the next day although the reservation was for 2 nights. I wonder how this hotel rating is good in TA and booking.com. Well, probably only our room was in poor condition. Hence the review title :)

We loved staying here, the rooms are small but cozy and clean, very close to the Eiffel Tower but what was really a huge plus for us was that it is less than 5 minutes walk to the Metro. The street it is located has some bars and restaurants that are not that expensive, and there is also a tiny grossery store right next door - fresh fruits and water to take to the rooms that have a minibar.
I will definitely be back!!!

Staff very friendly,rooms very clean.Ideally situated close to Eiffel Tower and River Seine so did not need any other transport than boat road on Seine and walking. Breakast good and was all that we needed. Only fault was warm rooms as no air conditioning and when windows opened the noise of the traffic but apart from that would recommend the hotel to anyone as it more than did its job.
