We chose this place because it was close to the metro (Charles Michels) and close to the Eiffel Tower. Loads of places to eat around this hotel. We read the reviews and saw that everybody liked the rooms and Trust me! The rooms are very clean! Though a bit small (as expected in Paris) but very clean. The Wifi is complimentary! That made my day.
I would suggest not to try the pizza from the pizza place next door, it didn't taste good at all. The room had an AC. The water from the tap is absolutely drinkable. We could just get a sneak peak at the Eiffel Tower, if we slightly bent over the railing from our balcony, but we could see the shimmering lights reflected off all the glass windows around. Thank you Beaugrenelle Saint Charles for such a comfortable and a memorable stay! :D

We stayed here in May 2008 and were very satisfied. We were in room one on the bottom floor. The room was okay size with a good size bathroom. The hotel is older and in need of a remodel, but it appeared clean, and for us, that was the main thing. The hotel is in a PERFECT location. We could walk to the Eiffel tower in about 15 minutes. The metro station was right across the street and the bus stop was also very closes. We would definitely stay there again.

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. The location is excelent!, you can walk to the Eiffel Tower, the metro station is right in front of the hotel, the RER station is very close and the area is quite. However, the hotel had no good amenities. We stayed on the 5Th floor. During all our stayed the elevator wasnt working. there was a construction going on in the hotel that used to begin everyday before 8 am. The rooms are so close to each other that we could literally hear the next door guests talking, taking showes and doing their business in the bathroom. Another complaint we had is that the housekeeper would ignore the signs of "not disturb".. She literally walked on us once, dispite the sign outside of the door. We kept telling her not to come, and she insisted that she needed to get in the room. We felt like we needed to be out of the room by a certain time. Between the construction and the housekeeper there was not time to sleep nor to rest. I would NOT recommen this hotel, unless the have a very good sale, i would put with all their mess.

I went to Paris for 5 days with my boyfriend. We booked this hotel based on cheapness and location. It was fantastic! It did have a couple of flaws but nothing's perfect, especially for the price we paid. The service was great - 24 hr reception and all the staff spoke English and were really helpful. The room was newly renovated and looked it. The bathroom was clinically white and had a lovely shower and the bedroom itself was just right. Our view just looked out into the messy courtyard, which was still being renovated so that was pretty much non-existant, but we only really used the room to sleep and and chill out - we were in Paris! The room was always perfectly cleaned when we returned from our adventures and the bed was so comfortable! And it had air conditioning, which was amazing! One downside was the TV had no English channels, so was again pretty void to us basic French speakers - but again, who cares when you're in Paris?! The other downside was it was a bit of a mission to use the iron. I think the highlight of this hotel though is the location. It's right next to all the amenities you need and more importantly loads of lovely Bistros and restaurants, which was perfect! The hotel isn't exactly central, but it's literally across the road from a metro station, which you shouldn't be afraid to use if you haven't already - it's easier than the London tube! So you really have access to everything on your doorstep. The Eiffel Tower is the closest thing though and it's just wonderful...about a 20 minute walk. I would definitely go back to this hotel again. (hopefully next time it will have finished the renovation though)
