The hotel is located in the Latin Quarter, across the river from Notre Dame. If you like this area (I always stay in this area), you can't do better. The hotel has all the ambience of an older Parisian hotel. I stayed there twice this trip, and both rooms were pretty small (the second was extremely small), but the prices were most reasonable. The bathrooms are modern, though small. I was content to be in basic accommodations such as these in Paris since it seemed quite old school, and I was rarely in the room. I would not want to get sick and spend a full day in the room, however. For short stays, I would happily stay here again. The hotel runs an excellent restaurant. The breakfasts are good and include fresh-squeezed OJ.
