We stayed here for 2 nights in October after reading good trip advisor reviews and had a wonderful time. The hotel is so easy to find using the Air France coach bus from CDG airport and is ideally located for seeing all of Paris. We got a room upgrade and could see the Arc De Triomphe from our window. Staff were so helpful and friendly - Francois in particular. There are lots of nice cafe's serving good breakfasts within walking distance so we were glad we only booked for room only. I would not hesitate to return to this hotel if we went back to Paris.

We arrived early at 9:30am and check in was at 2:00, the hotel staff allowed our party to check in at 9:30am without an additional charge.

The location is perfect the Air France bus stop and metro are across the street.

Rooms are clean and service was wonderful!

Concierge staff especially Chef Concierge Musani was par excellent, no problem communicating everyone speaks English fluently!

One small issue I gained a few pounds eating the free chocolate truffles kept in a basket at the front desk.

I am planning another trip to Paris in the spring and plan to stay with Splendid Etoile...I would not think of looking for another hotel!

the room was small but very clean! the hallway smelled like pait or somthing but other than that the hotel was great. location was great too very easily accesible to the main attractions and the staff was VERY helpful!! they explained all the transportation systems to us and told us where to eat and stuff so it was great!!! and getting a ride from the airport from the airfrance bus made it very easy I would definately stay there again!

I can't say enough about this wonderful hotel! Despite being small, it offered everything one would want and its location right next to the Arc de Triomphe is just fantastic.

Initial check-in was a pleasant affair where we were greeted at the main entrance and ushered into the nicely decorated lobby. Mere minutes after we got into our room, our luggage was brought in. The front desk staff are very efficient and attentive.

Our room was glorious... So clean, nicely decorated, and well-appointed! The decor is very pleasant and well-coordinated. Being warm-natured, it was nice to be able to open the window to allow the cooler air in. My only non-positive comment is that he bed was a bit firm for our tastes. The bathroom, while small, was flawless in its appearance and cleanliness. All facilities were in perfect working order.

The hotel's breakfast is excellent with an expansive variety of food and drink offerings makes for a great start to a day of walking and sightseeing. The breakfast room, which apparently becomes a restaurant in the evening, was quite pleasing with darker colors and contemporary decor. The staff there were attentive and diligent at making sure guests were happy.

Our stay at Splendid Etoile really added to our first Paris experience. There is no doubt that we will stay here when we visit Paris again.
