There is a lot of development and building work in the immediate vicinity although, staying on the 6th floor, we were not disturbed by noise. The reception were friendly and welcoming but the room was small and the bathroom badly in need of refurbishment as the paint was peeling on the skirting boards, the bath was scratched and worn, grouting a bit grim and just generally tired and unwelcoming. I certainly wouldn't have wanted to lie and soak in there. Also noticed a large stain on the landing carpet. The breakfast was fine but we found the tables uncleared and some of the chairs had split seats and needed replacing and I had to ask for a plate as they had run out.
We got a cheap rate booking on the Internet but if I'd paid the stated room rate of €123 I would not have been happy so I was pleased it was only for one night.

Room was small but clean.
My bed was comfy but the side was up against the wall which was a bit annoying.
There was a bar fridge in the room - very useful for keeping your own food in. There is an internet cafe a 5-minute walk away which is handy. Also a subway stop very close.
The bathroom had a retractable washing line across the bath - very handy. No iron. We put up the 'do not disturb' sign when we went out that day, but came back to find that the room had been made up. Annoying and disrespectful.
Breakfast was great but there was an incredibly long line and the way the room was set up made it awkward and cramped when getting your food. But the staff made sure to get the tables prepared right away when one became available.

We enjoyed our stay at Forest Hill hotel. Nothing swish but a decent clean large hotel with good facilities and in a good location

The Forest Hill hotel is close to the Perpherique, so easy reachable by car. A car parc is close, underneath the Cité des sciences et de l'Industrie. The best part is the metro station which is just around the corner. This great line get's you to downtown Paris in just 15 minutes. The rooms are clean
