We had a balcony room on the top floor. The room was small and had a random bit piece of beam through the middle of the room, but I guess that added some character.
The bathroom had a very good shower and the dressing gowns and slippers were a nice touch.
However, the air con in the room didn't work and it did get very warm (even in November) so I did have to open the balcony door in the night.
Room service breakfast in the morning was nice, although quite pricey for what we got. Also, although it is on the doorstep of a lot of nice restaurants and attractions, the immediate surroundings were slightly 'back street' and didn't feel the safest returning to the hotel late at night.
Overall though a cute and fancy hotel as a treat for the end of our honeymoonMore
