Excellent hotel. Rooms are big and good, Best in the town. Good for family. They provide Smart for over 4 nights stay. Hotel has lots of option of Movies music etc. in the room. Tram station is just in front of the Hotel

I've recently returned from my second trip to Clermont. Both times I've stayed at the hotel that my colleagues, who have been here many more times than I have, have said is the best hotel in town, The Suite Novotel.

This isn't a very good hotel. It's modern in an early '90s so sort of way. The service is OK. The rooms feel very dated. It's not particularly comfortable. The bathroom I had the first time, on the first floor, had an open shower area that sprayed into the rest of the bathroom. But it's not a bad hotel either. It gets the job done and is perfectly acceptable for business travellers.

Until someone builds a better hotel in Clermont I'll keep staying at the Suite Novotel.

We were driving to Spain and Clermont Ferrand was an ideal stopover and Suite Novetel is now our preferred place to stay with kids.
The room was smaller than other Suite Novetels I have stayed in Paris & Calais, however the great feature of the room is the very comfy double bed and 2 proper single beds (rather than a sofa bed or one on the floor)
The room also has a devider which is good and free WIFI!
Yes the car park is €10 but there is plenty of street parking around.
The breakfast looked good, however we take our own ceareal and they provide free coffee/tea or Hot Chocolate + cake at all Suite Novetels in th reception.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Overall nice rooms and location was right for us

Nice room, 2 beds for kids and a double.
Parking- scure, but 10 euros
Location uninspiring after a long drive. Walked into town for a meal, nice, but had to drag kids in a long way.
Perhaps more of a business hotel.
Would not stay here again on stop over
