We stayed here in August. The hotel is easy to find in a quiet neighbourhood. Its about a five minute walk to the tram stop which will take you into the city centre. The room was lovely and clean as was the bathroom. The receptionist spoke good English and was very helpful. A couple of small niggles; The breakfast in our opinion was not worth 8 euros per person. There was no Scrambled egg left when we went down at 8.30am and only one piece of ham. This left croissants, breadstick a couple of set yoghurt and what looked like tinned fruit. For what amounted to 24 euros for 3 of us it would have been cheaper to find a bakery and buy our own (after all how many croissants can you eat?). The only other thing was that the beds only had one small flat pillow each. Luckily we had a couple of our own in the car and my husband folded a bath towel to put under his hotel pillow. Apart from these small niggles the hotel was very good and we would defiantly stay again. The one thing I like in a hotel is cleanliness and this hotel was very very clean. The bathroom had a well positioned hair dryer and soap and shower gel were provided. The car park was secure and the tram was cheap and easy to use.

This hotel seemed new and adequate. But it is far from the city center in a sterile neighborhood, maybe better if driving a car. The reception lady was new, totally clueless and incompetent. She caused me much unnecessary distress and inconvenience. For example, I asked her for two things upon checking in: wifi instructions and location of a grocery store. She insisted that I bring my things to my room and come back for this information. This even though I was the only person at reception. When I came back, there were eight people in line checking in. , The “free wi-fi” couldn’t be made to work at all. So I checked out immediately and got a cash refund for my three prepaid nights. I would NEVER go back.

We stayed here as a half way stop on our holidays. The room was very good. Very clean, beds comfy and staff very friendly and helpful. Much better quality than other similar hotel chains.
We found it ok to find, we followed signs for the hospital, it is directly opposite. Large secure car park. Would definitely reccomond this hotel for quality and price.

This is an excellent basic hotel with very friendly, helpful staff; comfortable clean beds; creditable breakfasts; enjoyable showers in lovely clean bathroom; and safe parking. The air-conditioning was an absolute delight in the August heat and helped us keep going through a very busy five days!! No tea/coffee in room, but machine available in reception.

The Euronews chanel on the television is multi-lingual - just scroll through to choose language using button on top-right of TV control.

I do not know if we were just lucky - the hotel seemed busy over the weekend (judging by the number of cars in the carpark) (primarily with families), but the breakfast-room was ample, and the hotel was restful and quiet.

It is on the airport side of town, and we found it very easily using Google directions. It was also well-placed for driving out of town to the Puy de Dome area, where local people could not have been kinder in helping us find our way when out driving - spontaneously offering help when we looked lost, and in one case - quite literally driving out-of-his-way to guide us.

If you are young/fit then the tourist area of Clermont Ferrand is walkable, but as a family including two 60+ adults we chose to drive - easy parking at reasonable rates - the "under-ground" multi-storey is well placed.

If ever visiting this area again, we would definitely use this hotel as a base or in transit.
