We stayed for one night on our way to and from Spain. There are some reasonable restaurants local to it but nearbye Auchan has two. The hotel was what you expect from Etap, clean, friendly, cheap and air coditioning makes it a good nights sleep if the weather is hot. Great place to stay if you are visiting Pau for a few days.

Stayed for one night when flying back after visiting Pays Basque (use Pau airport to visit the region - City Jet beats Ryanair anytime). Wished I could have stayed longer as both Pau and the hotel are lovely.
Very bright and welcoming, the staff - as I found at Etap Bayonne, are friendly and welcoming.
Standards of cleanliness are high and it is good to know that you get what it says on the package.
Buses from the centre of Pau stop at the end of the road, good to know, if like me you are not travelling by car.
If you are looking for luxury, then this is not for you. But if you are looking for somewhere clean, warm and quiet then this is for you.

A normal, completely average, Etap hotel which had the advantage of being very easy to find even though we came off the auto route a junction early (travelling westwards). We arrived at around 1am and booked a room using a terminal in the doorway and had a good night’s sleep perfect.
