We enjoyed our stay at this hotel - lovely location and view of the sea. Our room was near the toilet which the public would use in busier times and can imagine that would be very noisy indeed given that the stairs leading to the toilet is wooden and noisy. The toilet in our room was wobbly and had a step leading up to it. We didnt have a proper shower so had to bath every day which was no hardship. Beware of the fact that your breakfast is extra to what you have booked with Booking.com (which make no mention of breakfast when you booki) I mistakenly thought it included breakfast. Breakfast was 12E each and was very good actually. When I printed off details of what I booked, I only realised on the day of travel that there was no note of where the hotel was - no address - no confirming email with details - so you need to do your homework before you go!

We stayed two weeks In Biarritz. The hotel was just right for us. Location is just right for a summer holiday. The rooms was cleaned daily with fresh towells if wanted no problems. The girls in the reception helped us in every way, with information and assistance. Biarritz was just super for all seven of us-

We stayed in Biarritz for 2 nights only as the prices were quite high. The bus from the airport runs every hour so we took a taxi to the hotel which cost 15euros. The location is good and central, and you can see the sea from the hotel. Our room was clean and had a fridge and tv with a view of the church next door. The rooms do not have air con so you have to sleep with the windows open. One evening the church had a gospel choir that went on til late so not great if you wanted an early night. The staff were not very chatty, upon arrival we were early and were told the room would be ready in 15 mins. We didnt mind as we would have been happy to leave our luggage. We had a coffee in the cafe part of the hotel, which also had a restaurant. After this we didnt have any further interaction with the staff, upon check out we paid and that was it!! We did not eat in the restaurant as there were plenty of nice restaurants in the area. The cotes de basque beach is much nice than that of the grand plage, the hotel was in easy walking distance of both. From Biarritz we moved onto Bayonne, which was much cheaper for accomodation and only 20mins on the 1.20euro bus ride from Biarritz

No Hair dryer
NOISY - you can hear a pin drop be it upstairs or next door
No mirror in the room
No double glazed windows
Windows are filthy haven't been cleaned in MONTHS
Carpet very stained
Small safe but un-usable : no batteries
lack of room for clothing
Breakfast in room:
Tray too small - plate hanging off the edge
No juice - very small hot chocolate
Liquid Jam - melted butter
different quantities from one day to the other
day one : 3 slices of cheese / 3 slices of ham /3 slices of sausage
day two : 1 slice of cheese / 2 slices of ham / 1 slice of sausage

All of this for the gynormous price of 15 euros
The maid opened my door without knocking.
The decor in the elevator is falling apart

For the life of me I dont understand how this hotel can be a 3 star.
