I turner out of the station and there it was, 200 yes walk. A very comfortable nights stay. The only slight grumble was that the wireless network was not working in my room on the day I stayed

Stayed at this hotel for 11 nights. Reception staff customer service out of the top draw. Very accomodating, very helpful and always willing to go the extra mile. Thank you Danny, Adam, Jen, Carla and Biellie for your great customer service and all the assistance. You are a really special bunch of individuals. Hotel has good clean spacious rooms/bathromms and situated within walking distance to Picadilly Station. Hotel has very little to offer in terms of sports channels on the television.

Have stayed in this hotel before and found it excellent had a room on a high floor and from view comfort and service could not complain. However went to book in last May without my confirmation sheet to find to my horror that I wasn't on their system. The hotel reception was accommodating in that we stayed Friday but had to look elsewhere for Saturday. Luckily a very nice girl on reception found us a B&B over italian restaurant on Bolton Road. It was quite expensive with taxis. I had found the offending confirmation from central reservation from the macdonald chain and went back to the hotel on sunday. But to no avail, eventhough there was a booking there was no name on the confirmation and I hadn't looked at my email to check it just presumed, yep hotel is booked. Duty Managers weren't very helpful in sorting something out for us in the fault didn't lie with us. We made a booking and received a confirmation, I din't think of whether thy had taken credit card details. Overall it left a very bad taste in our mouths and a warning could it happen to other couples.

Recently stayed here for business for 1 night. Staff was very accomodating, allowing me to check in early for some much needed rest before a business mtg since my flight arrived early at 7am. Additionally, when heading back to the airport, the staff took the extra time to find me a taxi that accepted credit cards as I had run out of pounds (apparently in Manchester, majority of taxis only accept cash and there are no ATMs in the hotel) which I greatly appreciated.

As for the room, I was pleasantly surprised by how large and bright it was. I was on the 6th floor and had a king size bed--room had very large windows overlooking Picadilly station and Manchester skyline which was lovely. Room had ample space with nice seating area for eating and decent work space. Bathroom was nice and seemed modern--shower was relaxing. Complimentary tea and biscuits were a nice touch.

Room service menu was lacking a bit...and when I ordered, a few options were not available--which the staff was apologetic about. Had drinks at bar with a colleague which was nice and cozy on a rainy night.

Overall, if I find myself back in Manchester, I would stay here again, and would love to try a massage treatment or 2!
