“A little disappointed!!!!”

If you are going to book this hotel please be aware that it looks nothing like the pictures on the website! also there is no reception area to check which is slightly off putting. the apartment we were given was slightly dated and the tiles on the kitchen floor were mostly cracked.
we were assured by the owner we had hot water to then discover that we had none and were expected to fill the boiler system by our selves and the window kept blowing open all night and we had to keep trying to close it which meant us climbing on a window ledge 23 story's high!
finally we cancelled another apartment to move to this one BIG MISTAKE!!!!!!

Pros & Cons! Firstly don't be thrown by the photos on the website or the word 'hotel'. After twice requesting by telephone one of the contemporary apartments pictured on the website, as oppose to the more traditional style, I was told all apartments were decorated similarly, then on arrival I was disappointed to find that although the apartment was fine, fairly modern but basic, it was nothing like either of those pictured and I would now consider this false advertising. We also found it alittle inconvenient that as this is not actually a hotel there is no reception or anywhere to leave bags, so we had to kill a few hours whilst carting bags around until we were able to be let in. On the up side the location is fantastic for shopping or MEN etc, very central, and the views over Manchester are great (22nd Floor). I would therefore recommend these apartments for location/view/value for money but to avoid disappointment don't view the website photos first.
