Whilst in between foreign destinations I happened upon this guest house. The rates seemed to be too good to be true but was I wrong.
I am a freelance journalist and have stayed in many hotels and guest houses along the way.
This is definitely in my top ten. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the accommodation is above what you would expect for the money.
The breakfast is very good too. You are centrally located in Telford so its an ideal launch pad.
I would give this place 10 out of 10 for value for money and would highly recommend it.

We used this as a base to visit IRONBRIDGE gorge and stayed 3 nights here in two rooms (2 adults in a double room, 3 children aged 11,14, 15 in adjacent family room which could have accommodated up to 4 people). Cost was £135 per night in total including cooked breakfasts, one night's deposit was required up front. We booked online. Both our rooms were ensuite, clean, reasonably spacious, up to date and well kitted out, although our room could have done with a little more drawer storage space. There was sufficient parking space in front. Shower water was hot and plentiful. The landlady was very pleasant and professional, attentive but not obtrusive. The house has high ceilings and a lovely stained glass window in the hall/landing. We ate out all 3 evenings in Wellington: Cafe Del Manso, La Rosa and a nearby pub - all were within easy walking distance of the B&B.
