“Mercure Stay”

The hotel is set in a nice location although a fair distance from the City Centre The gym is excellent with plenty of equipment available - The people I was served by were very friendly -The room was good clean etc although I struggles to work out how the heating operated (that could be me though!) didnt use the resturant had room service where the food was again nice- personally i like the Accor group hotels and wasnt dissappointed with this Hotel

“no hot water”

We did not have any hot water in the shower or bath. We asked for this to be addressed. We were promised that the maintenance team would repair this the next day and were given a key to an unused room to have a shower. There was no offer made for a change of room. Day two still no hot water with no explanation.

“HIDDEN AWAY LITTLE GEM”

We stayed for a two-night break on an all-inclusive basis which represented the most excellent value for money. We received a very warm welcome from the hotel staff who made us feel immediately comfortable, and truly nothing was too much trouble for the duration of our stay. We stayed in one of the refurbished rooms which was clean and comfortable, although the communal corridors are in need of some updating. However, the reception areas, bar area and restaurant have all been very pleasantly refurbished and have a lovely atmosphere. The food was generally very good indeed, with the evening meals being of an exceptionally high standard with quality presentation and service.

In short, we would not hesitate to recommend this hotel, and we hope to be able to return when we shall most probably opt again for the all inclusive package - you cannot go wrong!

Room Tip: Opt for one of the superior rooms which have been refurbished.

“Go all inclusive - well worth the money.”

Have been to this hotel 3 years running for our anniversary weekend , food is gorgeous, bedrooms clean and comfortable , service always helpfull and friendly and if you manage to get the all inclusive deal then also excellent value for money. looking forwrd to going back again.

“THIRD VISIT”

We have just returned from our third all-inclusive visit to this hotel. We took two friends with us this time. The food was impeccable, staff all very friendly. Lovely large room with big comfy bed and TV. Rooms cleaned daily and change of towels. Pool and gym facilities are excellent.
Only two small grumbles - the heat in the bar/reception and restaurant was unbearably high for a mild November, and the wi-fi kept tripping out, but these are very small niggles. The first two visits were the weekend before Christmas, so we were disappointed that we couldn't do the all inclusive at the same time this year.
Our friends also enjoyed the break, and we will definately be back again soon! Many thanks!
