Usual high standards, efficient staff and good sized rooms. Parking can be a nightmare though, if the hotel car park is full the multi storey isn't the greatest place to leave your car although it is locked overnight.

The hotel is almost news and is therefore in good condition. It’s located about 5mins from the Station and a little less to the nearest point of the town centre. The Designer Outlet is about a 10-12 minute walk. Rooms are nice. You get a bath with shower above, but strangely no hair drier. Beds are comfortable, our room having a double and a separate full sized single bed. We didn’t have the breakfast (£8.50 a head) but instead went to one of the three Wetherspoons close by, any of which will do a decent breakfast for much less than this (they open at 8am). The car park (£5 for 24 hours) seems to get full quite quickly, so an early arrival is recommended. The car park sign said “full” when we arrived but we buzzed and asked and were let in. Staff friendly and helpful. No hesitation in recommending this hotel; we shall use it again when we next need to stay in Swindon.

Arrived here on a Sunday mid afternoon. Great reception and given room at the back due to road works. No one said tht the restaurant was not open on a Sunday, only found this out when I went to ask for a tabvle....after a long day travelling a bar meal ws not best. Shame it had not beenb poiunted out on arrival. Dining room appears to hold 'private function' Christmas party nights. This menas that as I aresident I was told that I couldn't have a table in the dining room until after 8.30pm. Not ideal after a day at the office, nor very hospitable. Also that on one of the coldest days of the year in Swindon housekeeping left my window open all day. Christmas Chill indeed

This place should be a gold mine based on its position in the centre of Swindon .

However only average in regard to the hotel , was cold and the staff had difficulty with the heating system .

Dinner was included but portions were a bit small .

The roadworks outside kept anyone on that elevation of the hotel up all night .
