My Fiancee and I have stayed in some truely amazing B&B's all over the UK (sniffing out the best ones is a bit of a hobby of ours). And we can honestly say that Church Gate Farm is without doubt the best of the best!

From the external beauty of the house and it's breathtaking setting, to the little details like ice cubes with pieces of lime frozen in them searved in our welcome drinks, everything is just perfect. Lyndsey is so friendly and relaxed that you feel like you are staying with family, and she cooks an amazing breakfast.

We have been lucky enough to stay on 2 occasions now (2 nights each stay) and the magic never fades. We even got engaged on our second stay, and couldn't think of a better place to have spent our first night as future husband and wife.

We are a Malaysia family travelled to Yorkshire and wanted to find a BnB suitable for my young toddler. We were introduced by another BnB owner who do not have rooms themselves. We were particular on requirements to suit my girl, bathtub, ensuite, kingsize bed, family room, DVD with large TV, clean towels, quality toiletries, great breakfast, farmhouse, view, quiet, near to town and villages and near to Yorkshire Dales National Park;

These we found in ChurchGate Farm.......

You cannot believed the words or pictures posted until you stay with Lindsey...from waking up in the morning with showered with Molton Brown, special request breakfast to night were you have widest selection of tea and coffee, DVDs and CDs... beat that!

I recomend this wonderful home to all who wish to stay in the area. We were spoilt, lots of lovely little touches, breakfasts to die for, comfort is an understatment. It is a perfect place to stay.

We were visiting Harrogate for the Autumn Flower Show and were recommended Church Gate by another B&B owner. We couldn't fault our stay - the room was well equipped, with the fluffiest bath towels we've ever used, luxury toiletries and well-stocked refreshment tray. The comfortable bed (we had the King en-suite room) plus the tranquil setting (only sound was the occasional bleat from nearby sheep!) ensured a good nights sleep. The breakfast was superb - fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereal and a huuuuge cooked breakfast which really set us up for the whole day. The welcome from Lyndsey was friendly - nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel most welcome.
